The best way to join the Sherpa Gallery is through the Basecamp Artist Residency Program. Every residency includes a complimentary 12-month Sherpa Gallery listing — so you leave your five weeks with new work made and a place to show it.

Sherpa Gallery listings are curated. Submission doesn't guarantee acceptance. We review work for quality, originality, and alignment with the Basecamp community's values.
To apply:
• Email 5-10 images of your work to thebasecamp.art@gmail.com
• Include a short bio and artist statement (100-200 words each)
• Tell us which listing tier you are interested in
• Include links to your website and Instagram if available
We review applications on a rolling basis and respond within two weeks.

FAQ Section
Do you take a commission on sales?
No. All sales are handled directly between you and the buyer. Basecamp takes no percentage of any sale, ever.
How do buyers contact me?
Each listing includes a direct contact link that goes straight to your email. Buyers reach you, not us.
Who handles shipping?
You do. All shipping, packaging, and fulfillment arrangements are between you and your buyer.
What if my work sells during the listing period?
Just let us know and we'll remove or mark that piece as sold. You can replace it with new work anytime within your tier's limit.
Can I upgrade my listing tier?
Yes. You can upgrade at any time by paying the difference between tiers.
Is the Sherpa Gallery only for Basecamp Residency artists?
No. Any artist can apply for a Sherpa Gallery listing. The residency simply includes it as a built-in benefit.
What are the image requirements?
Minimum 1200px wide, well-lit, true to color. We can provide photography guidance if needed.
