WHY THE PODCAST MATTERS

Basecamp to Summit exists to illuminate why people create — the journeys behind the work. Every Sherpa Gallery member is invited to record an episode: a conversation about your process, your influences, and the story behind the pieces in your portfolio. It airs on the podcast feed and lives on the Basecamp YouTube channel, linked directly to your Sherpa Gallery page. Story sells art. This is how we tell yours.

UPDATING YOUR PORTFOLIO

Members may update their listed work at any time within their 20-work limit. Sold-piece removals are processed promptly — just let us know. General portfolio updates (new pieces, new images, price changes) are processed on a rolling basis, typically within two weeks of request. Major portfolio refreshes are welcome once or twice a year to keep your page feeling current.

HOW TO APPLY

Membership is curated. We review applications for quality, originality, and fit with the Basecamp community.  To apply, email thebasecamp.art@gmail.com with: — 5-10 images of your work — A short bio and artist statement (100-200 words each) — Links to your website and Instagram, if available  We review on a rolling basis and respond within two weeks. Accepted members will be scheduled for a Basecamp to Summit podcast recording shortly after on-boarding. 

WHAT WE WILL NEED FOR ON-BOARDING

If accepted to join the membership additional information will be required for on-boarding to the online gallery. Details in the button below.

NEED PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY / FORMATTING?

Let us handle the visuals. This optional service includes professional photography and precise digital optimization for your artworks. This will ensure every piece is beautifully captured, color-corrected, and perfectly sized for seamless online display to the Sherpa Gallery. We have professional photographers who are ready to work with you directly for a reasonable fee.

FAQ

• Do you take a commission on sales?

No. All sales are direct between you and the buyer. Basecamp takes no percentage, ever.

• Is the podcast required?

It's included with membership and strongly encouraged — it's one of the best ways collectors connect with your story. If you'd genuinely prefer not to record one, let us know and we'll discuss it.

• How often can I update my listed work?

Anytime within your 20-work limit. Sold pieces are removed promptly; general updates are processed within about two weeks.

• Who handles shipping and payment?

  All transaction details are between you and your buyer.

• Do you provide any help to capture photos and or provide digital optimization services?

Yes we can handle the visuals. with an optional service for of $100 which includes professional photography and precise digital optimization for up to 20 of your artworks. We’ll ensure every piece is beautifully captured, color-corrected, and perfectly sized for seamless online display.
